“I have had the privilege of knowing Dr. Murray Clarke as a friend and colleague for over twenty years. I consider him to be the most knowledgeable alternative practitioner for children working in the field today. This volume is a masterpiece of thoroughly researched information delivered in a very readable style for parents as well as health practitioners who care for children. I predict this book will prove to be the definitive work on holistic healing for children and a must-read for all pediatric professionals who are sincerely dedicated to curing—not just suppressing—illness in children. I highly recommend it.”

Book Excerpt
“It has become increasingly difficult to acquire all of the necessary nutrients through diet alone because of the huge amount of processed, sugary, chemically laden foods in today’s food supply. All of our children are exposed to these nutrient-poor fast foods or junk foods, and parents must confront this problem by setting serious limits. Even foods that are grown in the soil and eaten fresh or lightly cooked are not as nutrient rich as were the same foods in the past, because of the relatively poor quality of today’s soil. As previously mentioned, the world’s soils have become depleted through industrialized farming and increased population demands, which require fields to be in continual use, rather than letting them lie fallow on a regular basis. Not surprisingly, foods grown in mineral-depleted soil have a lower mineral and vitamin nutrient content”.
